The Journey of Equal Notes
2025
Equal Notes was established with the core mission to expand access to high-quality music education. Driven by the vision of Hawon Song, we began by identifying underserved neighborhoods and building our first set of community partnerships to provide free instrument rentals and workshops.
Moving Forward
As we look to the horizon, Equal Notes is scaling its impact. From expanding our mentorship programs with BBBS to launching the BeatsLab Digital Workshops, our goal is to weave music into the fabric of every community, fostering sustainable creative growth for every student.
